This section describes the two out-of-the-box applications provided with the Ebase Xi Workflow system. Both are Ebase Xi forms-based applications.
This is an example application to enable an individual working within an organization to display workflow tasks which may be assigned to them and to enact those tasks. The sample application is WF_TASKLIST in the SAMPLES project. This can be run in the same way as any other Ebase Xi form.

This application is designed for the person with administration privileges to monitor the status of all jobs and tasks enactments and act on any eventualities which can not be handled using the task list application. The sample application is WORKFLOW_ADMINISTRATOR in the SAMPLES project; it can be launched via the Server Administration Application or can be run in the same way as any other Ebase form.
The application requires user sign-on and uses the same security as the Server Administration application.

A Workflow Maintenance scheduled task is provided to remove completed jobs from the workflow runtime database. This should be run periodically to stop the workflow database from growing too large which can affect the performance of both the task list and the administration applications.
